Flycam 3000 HD Advanced camera stabilization
Steadycam system -
+ Arm Brace + Travel Bag
This tripod is designed for medium DV or HDV cameras or DSLR cameras up to approximately 2.3 kg.
The Flycam 3000 HD or MB Advanced is a refinement of the old Flycam 3000 at two points, which was desired from the practical experience out of numerous users. Firstly, it affects the head, in which now comfortably the x-y-balance can be adjusted with just two thumbscrews. And secondly he adjustment of the counterweights on the base plate is constructed more comfortable.
This set comes with an Arm Brace.
walking, running, race, up and down stairs is recorded almost smooth. The camera hovers over the stairs, through the party, the woods or wherever you want to shoot. The results look very professional in every case.
A stable ball bearing in the center of the system ensures silky smooth movement.
A camera quick-release plate and an arm brace are included.
With convenient carrying bag.
Certainly it needs practice to handle the stabilizer perfectly but You will get the first success very fast: the WOW-effect when the camera is in balance and seems to float above Your hand.

A few remarks at the end (the pro probably will smile about):
One should be clear about that it needs a lot of exercises before the resulting pictures of the shooting will be perfect. Quite often customers tell us (in this way or the like) that they urgently have to do some Steadycam-shootings tomorrow and that would like to check a Steadycam-system today in the afternoon. That is definitely not the way it works! You cannot buy a skateboard or a ski-equipment today and make an elegant downhill race tomorrow. It does not matter if you are talented or not, it takes time and definitely exercises to improve.
Surely a beginner will produce better shootings with than without a Steadycam-system but the probability of being perfect is very low. This means for instance that the horizon might not be in level or the camera tilts or bends during starting a walk/run or a stop depending on what you are intending to do.
One should take time to balance the specific equipment installed on a Steadycam-system and slowly learn more about the functional principle of Steadycam-systems. By the time one will learn the "cat walk" to avoid or minimize vertical movement of the camera to improve the resulting pictures of the shooting. Like very often in life: only exercises leads to mastership!
Top Steadycam-operators are in great demand in film business. They have learned their craft by exercises and endurance to become perfect in the end. And they have to remain bodily fit if you realize that a 35mm camera on a Steadycam-system including external video monitor easily comes to 40kg and more. So it becomes clear that a professional has to train the muscles constantly to survive next shooting day.
Certainly this does not concern the small Steadycam-systems like the "Flycam nano" for cameras up to 700g; these systems can be carried for a long time without getting tired. But the semi-pro-camcorders of the 3kg-class installed on a "Flycam5000" easily weights 7kg or even more. The wrist joints and the arm are getting tired quite fast during a longer shooting.
That's why we offer an arm support, the "Arm Brace", which releases especially the wrist joint and is very good for shorter shootings. And we offer the body carriage system, the "Body Pod", which releases the arm completely and relocates the weight of the Steadycam-system to the hip.
For semi professional use we also offer the body carriage system "Comfort Arm & Vest" for the "Flycam5000" which comes as a bundle with a comfortable carriage case. For professional use, we offer the two-arm systems Flycam 5500, Flycam 6000 and Vista-II with vests and maximum protection against camera shake, which, however, also bring about 10-15 kg net.
Following a comparison with the bigger (but also heavier) Flycam 5000 for cameras up to 4kg.
